The unibody construction improves ride quality, handling, and fuel efficiency compared to the truck-based first-generation model, positioning the Sorento as a family-friendly crossover with car-like driving dynamics. The AWD crossover provides ample interior space, with an optional third-row seat for seven-passenger capacity, though the third row is best suited for children.
